โThe largest bonfire,โ โpotatoes in the bonfire,โ dancing and all kinds of other things and hospitalized children lose all this fun. But Zichron Menachem will not let them feel the loss, the bonfire rolls down straight to the Childrenโs Oncology Department of the Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem. Musicians with their instruments and dear Yeshiva students together burst into songs and dance, the bonfire, obviously, is in the center, the children and their parents are astonished, what is happening here, the celebration is in full swing and everybody feels that they โdid not lose out.โ
A boy who received a bone marrow transplant was also visited in his room. The bonfire entered the room and the boys sang through the window. It was joyful and exciting.
In the morning the first haircut ceremony took place for Shloimie, an adorable 3 year old boy, who was in the center of things. Each of the grandparents sheared off another and another snippet of hair, the orchestra is playing and everyone is dancing and making the boy happy. Mazaltov!
