When one lives far away from a medical Center...

Zichron Menachem runs a hospitality center - hostel - in Jerusalem for the many families that come to the capital for medical treatment. They are provided with rooms, sheets and blankets, towels, toiletries - all on a high level - along with light meals, beverages and a luxurious lobby.
Like all Zichron Menachem's projects, the service too is provided completely free of charge.

Zichron Menachem opened its hostel six years ago in the Kiryat Moshe neighborhood of Jerusalem in a penthouse apartment located near the social and educational day-care center currently in use. About three years ago, the hostel moved to the lovely and quiet Bayit Vegan neighborhood in Jerusalem near the Ramat Sharett neighborhood, minutes from the Hadassah and Sha'areh Zedek hospitals. Families living outside Jerusalem who have come with their loved ones for treatment in Jerusalem's hospitals are welcome to take advantage of the hostel's high level hospitality during their stay.

A unique opportunity was provided when the owner of the property decided to put the building up for sale. It is a two-family cottage with 12 living units, each with an adjoining bathroom and shower. The hostel also has a large lobby, kitchen and dining room. The hostel is located in a quiet and convenient area, and its windows afford a lovely vista of southern Jerusalem. Many families from all over the country have already benefited from the hospitality Zichron Menachem has been able to provide in the hostel.
